The first cause of obesity is the food sold in schools. Many schools offer very unhealthy foods and drinks in their cafeterias. These foods are high in fat, sugar, and salt. Many children will choose unhealthy food over something healthier. They will also drink sugary drinks instead of water. The second cause is how unhealthy food is advertised. Unhealthy food is often advertised with cute animals or bright colors. This makes young people want to eat it much more than healthy food.
The first effect of obesity is teenagers having health problems. Obese people are more likely to have problems with their hearts. They can also develop illnesses such as diabetes. The second effect of obesity is that it causes low self-esteem. Having low confidence can affect many other parts of life. Teenagers may not want to go to school or be around other people.
In conclusion, obesity is a huge problem for teenagers. It is caused by unhealthy food being sold in schools and advertised to younger children. It causes people to have problems with their health and their confidence.
