Section 7: Read the passage and decide whether the statements are TRUE (T) or FALSE (F).
How we watch TV and what we watch has changed greatly in recent years. We are no longer bothered by the limited number of channels and shows that our regular TV services can offer. Nowadays, streaming platforms always have numerous shows for you to enjoy in your free time.
A good example is Netflix, a streaming service that provides viewers with a wide variety of movies, TV shows, and documentaries. You can watch as many programs as you like with affordable monthly plans ranging from 70,000 VND to 260,000 VND. With just one account, you can access and download your favorite movies on any device – as long as it has an internet connection.
But how about the dark side of this new form of entertainment? With convenient streaming technology, viewers often find themselves binge-watching shows for hours on end. Scientists believe that watching too much TV may lead to a lack of sleep, and if you don’t get enough sleep, you can suffer from anxiety and depression. A Netflix subscription should, therefore, be carefully considered.
