It is a fact that a lot of Vietnamese students go abroad to study every year. However, studying in a foreign country has both advantages and disadvantages.

In my opinion, studying abroad has the following advantages. First, it helps students develop better. Because the schools abroad are well equipped with more modern facilities that support students to access technology and apply it to their study the get the best results through real experiments and practical observation. Second, studying abroad take students new environment. Coming to a new country means that students arrive and discover a new world. They learn completely new thing about the country, people, and culture in that country, which opens their mind a lot. Last but not least, studying abroad gives students better chances to get good jobs after finishing school. Normally, students graduating from a foreign school are easier to have a job than students studying in Vietnam; moreover, in a foreign country there are more attractive jobs with better benefits.

Beside the advantages above, however, studying abroad still has a few disadvantages. The first one is that if students do not know how to learn selectively and can not keep themselves away from bad things they can lose themselves and become bad students. Moreover , if students can not get on well with foreign students and local people they can be separated and feel lonely. Along with home sickness they can become disappointed quickly and want to come home soon.

Whatever happens, I strongly believe that studying abroad has more advantages than disadvantages.
